| Lucketts: Greenvest Makes Over Shelter
The Good Shepherd Alliance homeless shelter for women and families at Lucketts recently had the good fortune of receiving a makeover with the help of Greenvest L.C.
As a community service outreach program, Greenvest, a real estate investment and development company, closed its offices for a full day, and its entire staff spent the day at the shelter painting, making a tot playground, building a bus shelter, planting gardens and sprucing up the buildings and grounds.
I went by to see what was going on, and it was a remarkable sight. Grace Major, program services manager, showed me around. Grace has been with the Good Shepherd Alliance since 1998, and has been the live-in house monitor at Lucketts since its beginning a few years ago.
